Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Noutify ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Contact: manavtoiit@gmail.com.
1. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Noutify.
2. Your content
You own the notes, recordings, photos, and highlights you create. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process your content so the app can work for you — including sending it to our third-party AI service providers (which may change over time) for transcription, text extraction, and highlight generation, without your identity or account data attached, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't claim ownership and we don't use your content to train AI models. You're responsible for your content and for having the right to capture it.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Noutify to break the law, infringe others' rights, capture others without consent where consent is required, upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Automated or abusive use (including attempts to run up processing costs) may be rate-limited or blocked.
4. Free service and fair-use limits
Noutify is currently free to use. To keep it that way, AI operations (transcription, photo text extraction, and highlight generation) are subject to reasonable daily fair-use limits, which may change over time. If you'd like to support the project, you can do so voluntarily via Ko-fi; donations are optional, buy no additional features or entitlements, and are handled by Ko-fi under its own terms.
5. Availability and changes
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It is currently a beta: we may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we aim for reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
6. Disclaimers and liability
Highlights, transcriptions, and extracted text are generated by AI and may contain mistakes — review anything important before acting on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noutify disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data. Keep your own copies of anything important. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Termination
You may stop using Noutify and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account in the app). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator's place of business, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
