Delete your Noutify account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Noutify account and the data in it. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no recovery window, so export anything you want to keep first.

Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect straight away.

• Open Noutify and make sure you are signed in.
• Go to the Profile tab.
• Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
• Confirm when asked. Your account and its contents are erased immediately.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@noutify.app from the address on your Noutify account, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request came from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

All of the following is erased permanently:

• Your account: email address, name, password hash, profile picture, time zone, notification token, and preferences.
• Everything you captured: notes, highlights, tasks, titles and tags, including anything sitting in trash.
• Your uploaded files: voice recordings and photos are removed from storage, not merely unlinked.
• What Noutify learned about you: every stored personal memory is purged from the memory layer.
• Calendar links: the references Noutify held to events it created. Events already in your own Google Calendar belong to you and are not touched; delete those in Google Calendar if you want them gone.
• Usage records: your daily usage counters and sharing rules.

What is kept, and for how long

• Feedback you chose to send us is kept so we can act on it, with the link to your account removed. If you included an email address with that feedback and want it gone too, say so in your deletion request.
• Encrypted backups of our database roll on a 14-day cycle. Deleted data can persist in a backup until it rotates out, at most 14 days after deletion. Backups are never used to restore an individual account.
